Stephen Mallatratt’s stage adaptation of the book by Susan Hill tells the story of a lawyer, obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over his family by the spectre of a ‘Woman In Black’.

To exorcise his demons, he seeks the help of a young actor to help him tell his story to the world. But as they delve further into the lawyer’s traumatic memories, a world of eerie marshes, moaning winds, and howling spectres begins to emerge. The borders between make-believe and reality begin to blur… and the flesh begins to creep.
